What to expect in a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy session:
By bridging traditional psychotherapies which focus on the mind with yoga which focuses on the body, you can expect to be invited to connect with yourself on a deep level and to receive guidance from your own inner wisdom.
Using your breath and body in gentle supported yoga postures and stretches, Jami will guide you to a state of presence in which you will gain a greater sense of awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and sensations. Through reflective dialogue in a safe and non-judgmental space, you can explore how what is happening in your body may be connected to what is happening in your life. Each session concludes with a guided integration of how you will take the insights you have gained during the session and put them into action in order to live a happier, healthier and more inspired life.

How to prepare for a session:
No prior yoga experience is necessary!
Wear loose, comfortable clothing you can easily move and stretch in. Sweat pants or leggings and a t-shirt or light sweater may be most comfortable. It is best to come on an empty stomach but if you need something to carry you over, try a light snack.
