About

Fully Alive Photography | Lifestyle SessionsJami Fowler

After almost two decades working for a NY investment bank, the death of her mother, a failed relationship, and a broken foot; Jami came to yoga physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually broken.  She wanted to supplement her Pilates practice with a means to regain strength, flexibility and balance after spending four months on crutches.  What she found was that yoga was healing her from the inside out.  Yoga has helped her improve her ability to manage stress, enhance relationships with herself and with others, have greater flexibility in her body as well as her mind, find inner peace and live with passion,  purpose and meaning.

She is passionate about helping others live happier, healthier and more inspired lives. By sharing the practice of yoga, yoga therapy, and Ayurveda (the sister science of yoga), she hopes to help others connect to and heal their minds, bodies and spirits.

She received RYT 200 certification in 2014 from the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA and completed Trauma Sensitive Yoga & Resiliency training in Sedona, AZ.  In 2016 she become a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist and an Ayurvedic Health Councelor (A.H.C.1) through the California College of Ayurveda.

Through yoga classes and yoga therapy sessions, she offers students and clients a safe space to connect to and explore themselves in a way that facilitates healing and growth. Her warm and compassionate style welcomes everyone from beginners to advanced practitioners of yoga. She believes the mat is a place to work through and move beyond the challenges, stress and traumas of life in order to find greater connection and meaning and move closer to our true nature.

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” ~ The Bhagavad Gita

With much love and gratitude,
